Magazine Envelopes

Use your magazines to make awesome envelopes to send letters to your friends!

Part One

1. Trim edges of your magazine page so there are no little fuzzy rippey bits
2. Fold in half (top to bottom)
3. Fold bottom edge inward 11/2”
4. Fold the top flap down around the bottom
5. Measure 1” on the top edge of your flap, and cut outwards to where the flap meets the body of the envelope to make nice corners on your flap!!

Part Two

1. Cut two 1”  wide strips from another piece of paper
2. Fold strip in half lengthwise
3. Trim to the length of the envelope
4. Glue the inside of the strip with the glue stick and put it in place on the edge of an envelope.  Allow it to dry.
5. Write a letter and put it into the envelope
6. To glue it shut use double sided tape or your glue stick…
7. Send it to a friend (that’s the best part!!!)
